Bayern's St. Patrick's Day beer. Created to honor the beauty of this little town in Ireland and to celebrate the Irish on their special day. Bayern Killarney was brewed first in February of 1988, before other breweries came out with their versions of an Irish red beer. This beer is one of the brewmaster's favorites. It is brewed with two-row Harrington pale, carmel, Munich, wheat and German Dunkel malt. The hops are cascade and come from Yakima. Bayern Killarney has a alc. content f 5.7% alc. vol. (14.2% Plato o.g.) and is available in draft and bottles.
