Issue Two

Ask The Brewmeister

Q: How long does Bayern take to make from start to finish?

A: The actual brewing process for a big tank of Bayern takes approximately 36 hours. The main fermentation takes an average of 5--6 days, and the maturation (lagering) of the beer takes an extra 3-4 weeks, depending on the beer style. That makes an average of 28 days from start to finish.

Q: Will you ever produce any fruit beer?

A: No, and I'm not planning to. There are many breweries already doing it and I don't see any need to add another one to the market. Besides, I personally don't care much for the taste. In my eyes, beer should only be made from malted barley, yeast, hops and water.
